I’ve been holding it in for some time now and only recently started to share it with the world. I found it quite liberating to really live it. So I’m just curious hence I’m asking.

I just started to watch your videos and thank you! I have been victimizing myself for a couple of years (or more?) and although it is hard to realize this I am willing to take actions and imporve myself, be more conscious. My question is: you mention here that love is selflessness too and “love is tolerance of the intolerable’- so I just realized that I loved deeply a toxic narcissist person (and sociopath) and even one week ago I was completely blind to see the mindgames and manipulation and he (luckily) discarded me. I am very angry with myself that I let all this to happen, and my only mantra now is that at least i am capable of loving unconditionally. But loving selflessly should have limits maybe? I have a trauma now where my brain and heart is fighting constantly(love-shouldnt love), back and forth..I hope you get my point (I am not a native speaker- victim-thinking again thank you in advance!

I remember you once said you had a deception in love and that brought the motivation in you to start on your self-development. It’s like you’re building a house here so she can find her way back home I don’t know if that’s the case but I’ve just read some books written by John Welwood and he says that your journey’s destination is in your heart, where’s your feminine energy and that only completes in a couple. I hope you two will reunite, I hope your pain, growth, love, and generosity will be rewarded with true fulfillment and happiness. I recommend you his books if you haven’t read them already

It’s not some postcard, or to not paraphrase, some amorous letter to your missus what love is, even though there’s sexual love, really called romance, love is Platonic, like the love of your dog. You’re not allowed to kick a dog’s arse if it’s eating your cough lollies, but then again, a dog obstinately eats them and forces you to share them, though dogs as food thieves are bad creatures and deserve to be sent out of the house, can you love the theft? Yes, you have a discipline not to have any theft, it’s not everything absolutely. Everything can threaten your life, but then again how do you heal my wounded heart when I’m driven to drink? Life is a bloody monster!
Max Gron says: As for the love I was born with, I didn’t love in an affectionate or sappy way and it wasn’t a feeling, I just liked averageness and pasties very much and liked everything else this way, what I’m trying to become is the normal, the average and the love of it, like I was born to do, without being touching or sweet, I didn’t have feelings, in reality I wasn’t born with love, I just liked things very much, I started off insensitive and average, I didn’t want good, even to the point people and my cousin Peter Dunk thought I was an arsehole, but who’s the arsehole? Me being the clown trying to be funny, or that annoying man pulling my hair? It’s Peter fucking Dunk! He’s a fucking arsehole, I’m glad he’s dead.
Max Gron says: There are exceptions to this hate, some religious people love atheists, they even think atheists have a place in heaven, the same for an atheist loving religious people, particularly their Christian parents, atheists love, it’s just a funny kind of a love, they’re cynical of imaginary things like God, even if that’s a reality for you and me, also, some people love hard people, they get angry and stuff from frustration, when the intention is lacking in love and need to be liked a lot, that’s as high as I’ll go, I like you a lot. You gotta be pissed off at Billy Brown doing stupid things, dressing like a stupid person, blowing all his money to win the horse races and losing his money, on “Buffalo ’66”, he’s an arsehole, it’s terrible and hard to cuddle him. It’s downright funny, it’s a black comedy of dark and macabre things. Am I to enjoy a black comedy? No, but I can like a lot the work put into making the films. If you’re serious about films like me, you’re not serious about making films and watching “the making of” documentaries, you’re just interested in movies, love of a thing isn’t trying to change it, improve it, make progress with it, or watching things related to a movie, it’s watching the movies, period, no bullshit, a no-nonsense approach to appreciating movies, appreciating movies isn’t appreciating studying movies, appreciating making movies, or appreciating movie documentaries, it’s strictly the movies you like, no more, no less, and yes I do sound like an arsehole for saying this, but love is direct, it doesn’t love outside of or related to a thing, that’s not love, love is loving things themselves, within that sphere, without bursting another’s bubble of loving movies. I use movies as an example, but it’s not just movies specifically, if you love science, you don’t want to tweak it, change it or make it better, you just accept science the way it always has been without calling them out on heresy, loving religion is loving religion, not changing it or correcting it, it’s acceptance of it the way it is, if you love me, then you accept me exactly the way I am and not accept me the way you want me to be or ask me to be, that’s not love, if I love my life I don’t want to change, I just want to accept and tolerate it and find it agreeable, pleasant or acceptable and enjoy it very much, that’s what love means!
